Weishaupt, a leading manufacturer of heating units, has a clear answer to the question raised by one and two family homeowners of how they can best upgrade their old heating system: the ailing oil boiler can be replaced with the new WTC-OB, a floor standing oil condensing boiler. The compact and economical system is available with capacities from 20 to 35 kW.

Modern technology scores twice

The biggest advantage of upgrading to a Weishaupt oil condensing system such as the WTC-OB is, of course, the reduced energy consumption by up to 30 percent. Annual savings of several hundred litres are no rarity. But another advantage is the ‘uncomplicated’ replacement of old heating system with the new Weishaupt oil condensing boiler WTC-OB. Fully matched system kits enable the heating contractor to carry out the installation in a very short time.

Flexibility for the future

Thanks to carefully selected materials and modern technology, the WTC-OB is also suitable for fuel oils of different quality. (Photo: Weishaupt)

The robust heat exchanger together with the blue flame burner make the boiler suitable for use with fuel oils of different quality. It is therefore possible to use up any standard EL fuel oil left in the tank before changing over to low-sulphur EL fuel oil at the next scheduled tank refill. The Weishaupt oil condensing boiler is also suitable for use when bio oil is added.

Summary

The bottom line is this: No disposal costs for the old fuel oil, no costs for cleaning the tank, ‘uncomplicated’ installation, lower fuel consumption and lifelong quality.
